Legend would have it that one day some leaves were blown from a nearby tree into his bowl of water.  Noting the delightful aroma, the emperor tasted the beverage and declared it “Heaven Sent”.

Soup to warm in winter and salads to cool in summer. 
Sandwiches and wraps are regular favourites.   Sunday breakfast too with farm fresh eggs of course!

We can seat 10 people inside (cosy by the fire in winter) and 10 outside in our beautiful courtyard in warmer weather.
